These brakes were on the back of my car and I took them off in order to upgrade to after market disc brakes. Not positive at this point if they are Lincoln Versailles. Take a good look at these before you bid. The shipping is too expensive to be shipping these back and forth.  I bought these from a friend way back and he told me that they were Lincoln Versailles and I believe that to be correct. When I had the rear end built at Currie I told them that I had Lincoln disc brakes and when my rear end arrived these bolted up correctly. The rotors have two bolt patterns in them, the original 5 on 5" and I added 5 on 4.750". The center diameter in the rotors is 3.065" dia. The bearing retainers/caliper mounts are for a 3.125" dia outer axle bearing and the housing bolt pattern is 4.500" front to back on the car and 2.375" vertically. This should be everything you need to put these on the car. The rotors, calipers, brake pads, caliper mounting brackets, dust shields and bolts are included. The machine work on the rotars was professionally done. I wouldn't hesitate to put these on a car as is. I don't think the rotors need turned and the brake pads still have a lot of material left on them. I think I put approximately 5000 miles on my car with these brakes. Let me now if you have any questions.

Vauxhall VXR8 Bathurst Edition blows in

Wed, 11 Feb 2009

Nobody could ever accuse the Vauxhall VXR8 (the Holden by another name) of being underpowered. Its barn-storming performance and bargain price tag have made the VXR8 a worthy successor to the Lotus Carlton. Relatively simple mechanics and a great driving car, there really is nothing else like it on the roads in the UK.

Ford is set to unveil its eight-seater Tourneo Custom Concept at next month's Geneva motor show, previewing new features that will give the vehicle car-like appeal. Ford designers have given the commercial vehicle the character of the company's Kinetic Design passenger car range, emphasizing movement, including a trapezoidal grille, a strong and muscular shoulder line, prominent wheel lips and a DLO with distinguishing kicks at the rear of each element. "We set out to create a design with clean, futuristic lines and with a real sense of occasion," explains Paul Campbell, chief designer, Ford of Europe.
