If the returned item is used, installed, damaged, or not packed in the original box with the original packing material, we will not process a refund.

Items we receive that have been used or installed will be disposed of and will no longer be available.

90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY

This item has a 90 day limited warranty from the date the part is received.  A warranty claim by the purchaser is subject to review by our, or the manufacturer's, technicians to ensure:

  • There is no damage to the item.

  • There is no improper installation of the item.
  • The item was not installed inconsistently with construction codes (e.g., electrical, plumbing).
  • There is no cosmetic damage to the item.
  • There is an actual functional problem with the item.
If any of the above is found to be the case, the item warranty is void, and no longer valid.

This replacement process can take several weeks including the shipping of the returned item, the examination of the item by technicians, and shipping of the replacement or repaired item.

Proof of original purchase date, as well as the item model and serial number, is required to return a defective part under this warranty.

This warranty does not entitle the customer to a refund for the defective item, original shipping charges, repair/installation costs, nor any additional costs related to the failure of the item.

Any and all shipping charges are covered by the customer. This includes charges to ship the defective item back to to us, as well as any charges needed to send a replacement item to the customer.

Solar car built by Cambridge University crashes

Tue, 08 Oct 2013

The annual World Solar Challenge is taking place right now. 38 teams from all round the globe are racing 3,000km (1,864 miles) across Australia using energy from the sun alone. Unfortunately, the planned entry from the UK’s very own Cambridge University isn’t amongst them – because five days before the start the above happened.

Nissan aiming to build radically different 2015 Le Mans prototype

Thu, 12 Dec 2013

By Ben Pulman 12 December 2013 12:00 Nissan is targeting an entry into the 2015 Le Mans 24hrs with a race car that will be radically different to the LMP1 prototypes fielded by Porsche, Audi and Toyota. Nissan will compete at Le Mans in 2014 with the radical ZEOD RC, filling the ‘experimental competitor’ pit garage last used in 2012 by the Nissan-powered DeltaWing, but it wants to use that experience to build a challenger for the premier LMP1 category in 2015, one that stands out from the rest of the field. ‘We have an active programme now,’ Nissan chief planning officer Andy Palmer (pictured, right) told CAR.
