NOS #18048R Solenoid, Nitrous, Pro Race, 1/4 in. NPT Inlet, 1/8 in. NPT Outlet, 450 hp Maximum, Each. 

 

These nitrous solenoids are used in the Pro Race Fogger systems, or in custom applications where maximum flow is needed. These state-of-the-art solenoids have a bottom discharge system that offers the least restriction and an increased flow rate of up to 450 HP, at a low 11.5 amp draw. They are specifically designed for competition use on highly modified engines. Features include a stainless steel body, special bubble-tight seal, very high flow, and compact size. They are easy to install and have a 1/4 in. inlet and a 1/8 in. outlet.

Notes: Includes 1/8 in. NPT purge port on side of solenoid body.

IED reveals updated Cisitalia 202 E concept

IED will reveal the Cisitalia 202 E Concept – a modern version of the Pininfarina-designed 1947 Cisitalia 202 – at next month's Geneva motor show. Design students of the Master of Arts in Transportation Design developed the Cisitalia 202 E (Evolution) Concept at the IED in Turin as part of their work experience program during the 2010-2011 academic year. IED has announced that, "the concept faithfully reflects the design of the historic vehicle, with dimensions and power aligned with modern times." Technical partners of the project include CECOMP (prototype construction), Pirelli, OZ Racing and ABET Laminati.
