You are bidding on a an NOS 1959 Chevrolet Convertible, Belair, Biscayne, Hood Chevrolet Script which is correct for all passenger car models of the 1959 Chevrolet to include the Station Wagon, El Camino, and Sedan Delivery.  My camera is set to a very high pixel setting so it appears there are spots on the chrome.  This NOS emblem is mint and in the same condition as when it was available from Chevrolet over 40 years ago.  I have not cleaned or polished the chrome.   There are no threads cut on the pins and the chrome is just as nice as the day it was available from Chevrolet many many rears ago.    I do also have hundreds of NOS 1959 parts seen in the convertible parts pulled for an individual who wanted to play games.  These parts are at pics #4-#12. These are a set of parts for an Impala Convertible.  Some of the parts I have duplicates of and will sell separately.  I'm also interested in selling the parts set.   LIQUIDATING!  Additional 1932-1976 Chevrolet parts available  Only if you can articulate your specific needs.  If you have questions please call (540) 891-1959 9am-9pm EDT.     Shipping rates calculated by Ebay are NOT ACCURATE.  EBay's shipping does not include extra costs like insurance and PVC shipping pipe.   EBay's charges are NOT accurate when they send you the email that tells you "you won, do you want to pay now".   Please do not send payment until  you request a total via My Ebay so that I can compute your shipping and insurance charges and forward you an invoice. I will combine shipping on additional auctions which end on the same day.  Item shipping costs are determined by weight, size, ship to location, and insurance costs.  Insurance is mandatory to the 50 states and Canada.  I will ship to overseas locations but Hawaii/Alaska/overseas shipments will cost more and Overseas shipments will not be insured.  I DO NOT CHARGE HANDLING CHARGES!

Please note my shipping lead time (5 days) which is after reciept of payment.  This is a hobby for me, not a business.   IF MY SHIPPING LEAD TIMES DO NOT MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS, PLEASE DO NOT BID AS THIS IS A HOBBY FOR ME, NOT A BUSINESS.  I AM TIRED OF GETTING HIT IN THE EBAY SHIPPING EVALUATION WHEN MY SHIPPING ABILITIES ARE PLAINLY POSTED.

When I ship your part I will upload the tracking data into your my ebay so that you will know the item has been shipped and you can track it's delivery. Payment is due no later than 3 days after auction close.  Ebay will automatically open a non-payment action of the 4th day.

My other auctions have additional NOS Chevrolet parts.

One Lap of the Web: a drifting luxobarge and an 80s hot hatch

Wed, 11 Dec 2013

-- If you've been wondering for the past few months since the release of the 2014 Mercedes-Benz S-class what it would look like if it was forced to drift around a racetrack (and who hasn't?) along with a Nissan 200SX drift machine, this video should answer that question. -- Remember the Shelby GLHS of the late 1980s? Those things were powered almost entirely by turbos, it seemed, and the whoosh they made is epic even by today's standards.

Concorso Italiano car show at Monterey Historics week 2013: in pictures

Sat, 17 Aug 2013

Every year as part of the Monterey Historics week there’s an Italian car gathering that’s grown to the point where it’s an international – unmissable – event. For 2013 the venue was the Laguna Seca Golf Ranch, just next to the race circuit – and what an incredible line up of cars there was. Alongside the predictable was the completely unpredictable.

New Rolls Royce marks water speed records

Wed, 14 May 2014

A POWERFUL land vehicle which pays homage to speed on water has been unveiled by Rolls-Royce. The car company showed off its limited-edition Waterspeed Phantom Drophead Coupe on the site of the original Bluebird Motor Company forever associated with the speed record-holding Campbell family. The site is now the Bluebird restaurant on the King's Road in west London, with the Bluebird company having funded Sir Malcolm Campbell's waterspeed record attempts.
