NOS 3-Speed Manual Transmission Floor Shifter Knob, GM Part #9794506. This is the correct 2-1/8” diameter knob first introduced for the 1969 model year on Pontiacs. Because of larger than previous size knob used for Pontiacs, this is sometimes referred to as a “tennis ball” size knob even though it is not in reality.
This is the correct knob for the following cars that had a 3-speed manual floor shift transmission: 1969 Pontiac Trans Am & Firebird; 1969-75 Pontiac GTO, LeMans, Tempest, GT-37, T-37; 1973-75 Pontiac Ventura. This was also the specified service replacement knob for the original smaller diameter 1965-68 knob, GM Part #9781840, being in November 1971. That knob was originally used for: 1965-68 Full-size Pontiac; 1966-68 Pontiac GTO, LeMans, & Tempest; 1968 Pontiac Firebird. This knob can be used for any shifter that has a 3/8” course thread. Ford software maximizes hybrid efficiency
Fri, 09 Nov 2012Ford will use a little navigation wizardry on two of its hybrids: the C-Max Energi plug-in and Fusion. The system will use GPS data and an algorithm to predict when a driver is close frequented destinations. The car will adjust powertrain controls to maximize efficiency.Ford calls the feature EV+, which is part of SmartGauge, standard on the Fusion Energi and C-Max Energi plug-ins and on hybrid models.

The first of those was the very appealing Volvo Concept Coupe which debuted at the Frankfurt Motor Show last year as a 21st century take on the classic Volvo P1800. With stunning looks, a new nose evolved from the earlier Concept You, floating grill and slim headlights, the Concept Coupe also came with a 4WD drivetrain powered by a 2.0 litre petrol and an electric motor for an output of 395bhp.
