OVERSEAS OR OUT OF THE COUNTRY BIDDERS

International Buyers – Please Note:

  • Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility.

  • Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying.

  • Items shipped out of the country often experience delays due to Customs holding or delaying packages for inspection. This can take anywhere from 1 week to months. I always email all of my customers the day their item ships out which is usually 1-2 days after receiving payment. I have no control over the length of transit time your package will take to reach you or the length of time that Customs may hold the item.

  • I ship out of the country using USPS without insurance. This means if the item is lost or damaged while in transit there is no coverage. If you are out of the country please understand this while bidding on this item. ALL ITEMS SHIPPED OUT OF THE COUNTRY ARE SOLD AS IS AND AS THEY ARE PICTURED IN THE AUCTION. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE FOR OVERSEAS SHIPMENTS. BY BIDDING ON THIS ITEM YOU HAVE ACKNOWLEDGED THAT YOU UNDERSTAND AND AGREE WITH THESE TERMS FOR PURCHASING FROM AN OVERSEAS LOCATION

One or the other will be specified in the auction. I always use whichever one is the cheapest to save my customers money. All items are extremely carefully packaged to ensure their safe arrival. I only use USPS for overseas shipments.

ABOVE ALL.....
Above all, if you have any questions or concerns about an item received from me all you have to do is call or email me and I will get back to you right away. I am on the road at times rounding up more NOS parts for everyone so please understand I am not always by the phone or computer 24 hours a day but I will get back to you. I try very hard to provide all my customers with honest service, accurate descriptions and all those hard to find NOS parts! Thanks, Purepony

Jason Castriota to head Saab Design

Thu, 24 Jun 2010

When Car Design News spoke to Jason Castriota about the new design consultancy he had set up in New York and Turin back in March, the designer told us he was working on a very exciting automotive project that he couldn't talk about at the time. It turns out that automotive project was for Saab, as last week the Swedish automaker announced it had hired Jason Castriota Design to oversee the development of a new generation of Saab products – the first to be completed under the tenure of its new owners, Spyker. Castriota's new appointment marks the shift from Saab's former position – where the brand was an integrated company within GM – to its newfound placement as an independent automaker, with Castriota essentially filling the role previously occupied by Mark Adams, GM Europe's Vice President of Design.
