This is a factory spare out of a 1978 Chevy truck including vans and 2 wheel drive pickups of 10 and light duty 20 series. It has a 15 X6 1/2" GM Rally wheel with a 5" bolt circle. The tire is a BF Goodrich Silvertown Belted J78-15. Tire is perfect with no usage and no dry rot. You can still see the mold marks and tips on the tread and wheel shows no mounting and paint is spectacular with no rust on rim. This spare was taken out of the truck when new and stored in a cool dry place and never used. Is absolutely brand new. A great piece for a restored truck. Cloud rises over diesel plan for Nissan Maxima
Wed, 18 Mar 2009Nissan North America may postpone a V6 diesel engine planned for the Maxima sedan in 2010. Since the company revealed its Maxima diesel plan two years ago, gasoline prices have fallen dramatically, auto sales have collapsed and Nissan has begun reviewing product plans as it scrambles to restore profitability. "We haven't reached a decision on the diesel yet, but we have to consider where we want to put our capital investments," says Larry Dominique, North American vice president for product planning.
