Volvo S60 Polestar goes in to production
Wed, 17 Apr 2013It sounded like a plan to put it in to production – even if it would probably need twin turbos to make it nicely wieldy on the road – and that’s exactly what Volvo and Polestar have done. The Volvo S60 Polestar has gone in to limited production, initially for the Australian market, but instead of the mighty 508bhp of the concept it has to make do with a more pedestrian 350bhp, little more than the V60 we reviewed last year with the Polestar upgrade. But the extra power is enough to get the production S60 Polestar to 62mph in 4.9 seconds and, thanks to tweaks to the suspension, brakes and aerodynamics, the S60 Polestar looks like it will be able to handle the power quite well.
2011 Renault Espace Facelift: Price & Details
Mon, 01 Nov 2010The Renault Espace gets tweaked for 2011 The Renault Espace was the car that started the whole ‘People Carrier’ thing, and with ever improving options coming at them from every angle they need to keep the Espace fresh. So although facelift may be a bit strong for the changes Renault has made to the Espace for 2011 – it’s more a case of a quick bit of Botox in its lunch hour – changes there are. If we tell you that the highlight of the facelift is a set of LED running lights you’ll have a fair idea of the extent of the changes for 2011.
First Jaguar F-Type customer cars leave Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich
Fri, 10 May 2013The first proper sports car from Jaguar since the E-Type ended production almost 40 years ago (and it could be argued the later V12 E-Types were more a GT than a proper sports car), the F-Type is a hook to hang Jaguar’s future intent on – and it seems to be making a pretty good fist of it. It may not be cheap (you’ll pay £80k for a V8 F-Type) and it may be heavier than its lightweight aluminium underpinnings promise, but it looks great, goes very well and seems to have proper Jaguar ‘Soul’. A winning combination.
