Amco called these grille guards to prevent confusion with bumper guards. They were designed to protect the rear of the car. The chrome is beautiful and has some cosmoline still on it, and comes with the hardware and instructions. It is mint. Amco was the premier maker of sports car accessories in the 1960's through the 1980's. They made shift knobs, grille and rear bumper guards, and floor mats that were considered genuine British Leyland Accessories for MG, Triumph, Jaguar, Austin, and Land Rover, as well as Datsun (Nissan), Toyota, Porsche, VW, Sunbeam, Toyota, Honda, English Ford and American cars. BMW Concept X5 eDrive (2013) plug-in hybrid at Frankfurt motor show
Thu, 22 Aug 2013Sharing the stage with the BMW i3 at the Frankfurt motor show is the BMW Concept X5 eDrive. The plug-in hybrid X5 is set to re-write the SUV rulebook with its four-cylinder petrol-electric drivetrain producing claimed figures of less than 90g/km of CO2 and a tree-hugging 74.3mpg, smashing the Lexus RX450h which produces 145g/km and 44.8mpg. What’s more, it’s better than the most efficient 3-series currently on sale, and far more frugal than the V8-powered BMW X6 Active Hybrid that was axed in late 2011.

Piccadilly Circus is the UK version of Times Square, and the neon signs have been a splash of international colour washing over Eros for a century, during which time there have been just fifty brands showcasing their wares to the 50 million or more passing Londoners – and visitors – every year, not counting the millions more who see the signs on Piccadilly Circus postcards that still wing their way round the world. The new Hyundai spot – which has been the Sanyo space for the last 33 years – is the last of the spaces to rely on neon lights to get its message across.

In an effort to appeal to those who want make a ‘Sporty’ statement, Lexus has decided that there should be an F Sport version of the hybrid-only CT 200h. Lexus are keen to point out that the CT 200h F Sport “…receives a number of visual and performance enhancements in keeping with Lexus’ F Sport model line-up”.
