NOS Master Cylinder Kit for Ford, Mercury & Thunderbird without Power Brakes Up for bid is a NOS genuine Ford Master Cylinder Kit for Ford, Mercury & Thunderbird WITHOUT Power Brake. It has wide applicability from 1952 up through 1960 and beyond for Ford products that DO NOT have power assisted brakes. This includes the 1955-1957 Thunderbirds. I'm very sure it is original equipment for Mercury vehicles as well, but I do not have the parts books to confirm this. If you have a Mercury from this era, do some research before bidding, but I think you will find this is the Ford factory-correct part. Even applicability to Edsel is likely but again, I do not have the Edsel books to confirm this. Note that this is a completely UNOPENED, FACTORY-SEALED KIT. They come factory sealed for a reason, so that no contamination gets on the components inside. I have taken a picture of the 1949-1959 Ford Master Parts Catalog
