Up for sale is a new old stock, GM Cadillac ignition switch. It is in excellent, unused new old stock condition and is complete with the original GM box! The GM part number is 1116701, please do your homework on the part number and your application. This is correct for all 1968 Cadillac models. These are getting hard to find, especially in such nice, NOS condition. This is a genuine GM part ready for judging, not a reproduction! Get the right parts for your classic. The Winsford Rock Salt Mines – 130 miles of salt mining tunnels running under Cheshire – are the result of salt mining since the 19th century and now comprise of 130 miles of tunnels some 189 metres below ground, a void beneath the earth of 23 million cubic metres. Still a working salt mine, Winsford is also home to a massive storage facility for, among others, the National Archive, where constant temperatures of 14C make for an ideal storage environment.
