Driven: Cadillac XTS

In the light of the new, global-focused ATS and hot-off-the-press CTS sedans, the full-sized, US-centric Cadillac XTS is somewhat of an anomaly in the new Caddy clan. It's been earmarked as a stopgap flagship before a proper rear-wheel drive challenger to the Mercedes S-class and Lexus LS comes on stream. Here's what we missed at the 2014 Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d'Este

This year's Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este took place over the weekend of 23-35 May. Bathed in spring sunshine, the lawns of the Grand Hotel Villa d'Este played host to the annual gathering of 50 of the world's finest classic and concept cars, and 35 motorbikes. Sadly, clashing commitments meant that CDN couldn't jet down to Lake Como this year.

The redesigned Nissan Versa has more standard features and a higher starting price for the 2012 model year--$10,990 without destination costs. The sub-$10,000 Versa will no longer be sold in the United States. Destination costs for the 2012 model have not yet been released.
