1 nos  hooded dash light with 3/4 SIZE THREADED MOUNTING POST.

Mounts in the model a dash perfect and looks incredable.

THE HOOD AND BASE IS CROME PLATED BRASS.

The hood has the split tab in the back, see the pictures.

It can be mounted in a dash 1/4 inch thick.

Unsure of era it was made, has bakelite in the bottom of the socket so it has to be pretty old.

Its 1 1/2 inch tall when mounted, thats how much sticks out of the dash total.

Overall its 2 5/8 inchs long. 1 wire hookup.

No switch on the base, very low profile lamp compared to others I sell with the stem.

I have it pictured in a model A dash and comparing the height to the hooded lights I sell with the stem.

This light is the same height as the model A light when its in the on position.

The last 4 pictures are for example only and no included in this listing.

The hood is solid in the back and does not have the slots like the others I sell.

The hood fits very tight on the base.  No chance of viberating loose.

The last picture is of a military dash light that looks very similar to this one for sale here.

Great for a brass era car, rat bike, bobber or rat rod also.

Includes 1 new production 1 contact 6 v bulb. I have 12v available if you need that.

Just a side note to all shopping for a switch or switch sets for their antique car, hot rod, race car or truck build.

I only sell quality parts. No junk here.

I buy parts and pieces in bulk to make up matching switch sets. Most knobs fit most switch I sell but their is some that don't work out very well. If you like a certain knob, just ask if it will fit the switch your interested in. Most knobs have to be fitted to each switch.

View my feedback and buy with confidence. I will not sell anything I would not use on my cars. I accept returns for any reason.

Since there's more out there than we'd ever be able to cover, here's our daily digest of car stuff on the Web you may not otherwise have heard about. -- When you let a NASCAR driver take his souped-up track car on local streets, you can be sure that what will happen is nothing short of incredible.

Infiniti EV put on hold to concentrate on volume sales

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

An Infiniti EV based on the Nissan LEAF (previewed by the LE Concept above) have been put on hold Nissan’s luxury arm, Infiniti, is on a global push to try and make inroads in to the dominance of Lexus in the luxury Japanese car arena, and has ambitious plans to be selling 500,000 cars a year by 2017. But Infiniti sold only a third of that total in 2012, so any chance of hitting the lofty target of 500k cars in the next five years means they must concentrate on volume cars, not niche cars like a Nissan LEAF based EV. That means the LEAF-based Infiniti LE EV Concept we saw at the New York Auto Show in 2012 will stay as a concept for the foreseeable future as Infiniti boss, Johan de Nysschen, seeks volume cars that will push the brand forward and bring proper sales numbers.

Thu, 13 Aug 2009

By Freddie Fulton Motor Industry 13 August 2009 10:31 The Chevrolet Volt was gunning to be the ‘first mass-produced car with a triple-digit fuel economy,’ according to General Motors CEO Fritz Henderson. Earlier this week he announced the US’s Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) would rate the new Chevy Volt as capable of 230mpg on the open road. The Nissan Leaf EV has picked a bone with the Volt.
