You are purchasing a NOS (New Old Stock) Lucas generator bracket (C.E. commutator end) with the bushing and 2 springs installed. The generator number listed are for the Original Lucas generators: Austin Healey 100S (1956) with generator #22489, Jaguar 2.4 (1956-59) generator #22489, Hillman Minx with Easidrive (1960-61) generator # 22532, Humber Super Snipe (1959-60) with generator # 22489, Sunbeam Alpine MKIII (1953-54) with generator #22489, Rover 75 (1952-59) generator #22489 and Rover 100 (1960) generator 22489. The box is a bit torn and it looks like it is dated 10. New from a vintage British inventory, in the Lucas box, part number 54210057. (photo 4) {CHI} Photos are the actual part.

First SRT Viper sells for $300,000 at California auction
Mon, 25 Jun 2012The first 2013 SRT Viper sold for $300,000 at the Barrett-Jackson auction in Costa Mesa, Calif., on June 23. The final price made the Viper the top seller of the event. Proceeds from the sale will go to the Austin Hatcher Foundation, which helps families and children affected by pediatric cancer.
Subaru launches production of BRZ, Scion FR-S coupes in Japan
Fri, 16 Mar 2012Subaru on Friday officially launched production of the rear-drive BRZ sports coupe in its Gunma Main Plant factory in Japan. The plant also builds the Toyota version--which will be sold as the Scion FR-S in the United States--as the Toyota 86 in Japan and as the Toyota GT-86 in Europe. We expect the Subaru BRZ and the Scion FR-S to be in U.S.

Mon, 18 Jan 2010The interior of the 2010 Vauxhall Meriva A couple of weeks ago Vauxhall revealed the details on the new Vauxhall Meriva and sent us a heap of pictures. Probably the biggest stand-out was the carry-over of the suicide doors from the original Meriva Concept (which we do have reservations about) but overall the new Meriva does look a more than half-decent car. But one thing Vauxhall didn’t do was release any pictures of the interior.
