New vintage set of Arias pistons and Ohio sleeves for Vega engines. 3.50 Bore/7:1 compression ratio, standard stroke. Marked "Bill Miller Engineering". (BME was active in the 70s and 80's in drag racing and custom engine parts, and is still around today). Probably intended for a turbo engine, or could be used with a decked block/shaved head for a higher CR. These are excellent condition, never installed. Includes ring set but no pins. Mon, 07 Mar 2011The Bertone B99 Jaguar Concept - not for us, say Jaguar We thought we were in a minority of one when we proclaimed the Bertone B99 – Bertone’s take on a new Small Jaguar – to be the wrong direction for Jaguar. We couldn’t conceive why a struggling Italian design firm like Bertone would take a punt on designing a new Jaguar, so we assumed that Jaguar must have quietly commissioned it. Otherwise Bertone would have to be a bit barking to try and usurp Jaguar’s design team; a design team with as sure a touch as any in the industry.

Which explains why, when Alfa were scratching their heads to come up with a new Limited Edition MiTo, they settled on the the Superbike link with the Alfa MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK Limited Edition. The MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK has now arrived on UK shores – although there will only be 28 of them – complete with Superbike titivation and a few publicity photos featuring the MiTo Quadrifoglio Verde SBK on two wheels alongside a Superbike.
