Condition:Used

Great controller; easy to use. Selling this because I went to supercharged application. I paid nearly 800 dollars for this unit; this is a great piece of equipment at this price. I will send a PDF of the instructions to this item to the buyer, or print and ship the instructions at the buyers request.

More details:
  • The Nitrous Oxide Systems Progressive Nitrous Controller utilizes a digital micro-controller for precise timing and control over the injection of nitrous oxide.
  • Because the unit contains a micro-controller, static suppression ignition wires are required.
  • The rate of nitrous injection is programmable for beginning and final power percentages.
  • The unit also contains a built-in digital delay timer allowing precise control of the starting time of the nitrous injection.
  • The controller has the advanced feature of the ability to select the pulse frequency, in which the nitrous and fuel solenoids operate.

    Installation Notes:
  • Kit 741-0050 Recommended (not included).
  • All NOS Controllers are safe to use with all production NOS solenoids.
  • Other manufacturer's solenoids may have excessive amp draw.
  • Nitrous Solenoids should not exceed 10 amp draw.
  • Fuel soleniods should not exceed 5 amp draw.

Warning: All diodes, capacitors, and filters from previous NOS installations must be removed! Failure to do so will result in undesirable operation of this unit.

Autoweek archives: Porsche, same as it ever was? Not quite

    Wed, 28 Sep 2011

In July 1997, Autoweek introduced its readers to the next-generation Porsche 911, the Type 996. Hot off the Frankfurt motor show release of the redesigned Type 991 2012 Porsche 911, we thought it might be fun to look at how much the iconic German sports car has changed since then. While it looks like not much has changed, the Type 991 is a brand-new car.

    Volkswagen Golf [w/Gallery]

    Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Volkswagen has unveiled the new seventh-generation Golf in Berlin, 36 years after the original model was first released. As expected the Mk7 is a further evolution of the Golf lineage, adding what appears to be an extra layer of precision to its surfacing and graphics. New production techniques helped the design team reduce its weight by 100kg, and at 4,255mm long the new model is 56mm longer than its predecessor, with a 59mm longer wheelbase of 2,637mm and it is also 13mm wider, at 1,799mm, and 28mm lower at 1,452mm.

BMW 7-series facelift (2012) first pictures

    Mon, 28 May 2012

BMW has given the 7-series the mildest of mid-life facelifts for 2012 – with a series of cosmetic tidy-ups, fettled engines, extra kit and the UK's first hybrid 7-series. The ActiveHybrid7 isn't the most expensive 7-series (that's the 760Li at £101,805), but at £66,040 the petrol-electric saloon is some £8k pricier than the biggest-selling 730d. As the diesel is also cleaner and more economical, we suspect the hybrid Seven will remain a niche seller over here.
