New old stock Pos-A-Traction Torque Twister tube-type G70/14 tire.  This is an unusual vintage tire from the 1960s-70s with raised white letters.  Just right to mount on a period wheel and display in your garage, den, man cave, or use it as a points-winning spare in your restored show car.  This classic meat has never seen daylight:  I got it and several other similar vintage muscle car tires from a tire dealership going out of business.  The owner had deliberately collected these from other tire dealers and saved them indoors in his warehouse.  Never been mounted -- as good as it gets.  Get your own special piece of rubber-meets-the-road history

4-ply tread, 2-ply sidewall. Sidewall is branded "ABO".  Made by Inglewood Tire & Auto Service, Inc., Inglewood, CA.

See my listings for other NOS tires from the glory days of muscle cars!  Please also visit my Ebay store for loads of vintage Chevy and other GM parts.

IGNORE Ebay's shipping calculator.  Postage will be calculated at actual cost after auction ends.  DO NOT PAY until you receive my invoice.

Bid with confidence and good luck!

Panamera delays mean free luggage for owners

Mon, 23 Nov 2009

Porsche is giving away the specially designed luggage because the first batch of Panameras are late--they've been held at the ports while a problem with the car's key and software have been fixed. The expectant owners were sent a letter from Porsche explaining the delay.

Mercedes touts future safety with research vehicle

Tue, 07 Jul 2009

In 1980, when several automakers began to use airbags, there were people who thought that cars couldn't possibly get any safer. Karl-Heinz Baumann, a safety researcher at Mercedes-Benz AG in Stuttgart, was not one of them. "We said, 'No, it cannot be all,' and we kept doing more research." The results of that research are presented on the company's most recent Experimental Safety Vehicle (ESV), on display now in the Mercedes Museum in Stuttgart.

Mercedes E63 AMG facelift and power boost (2013) full details

Thu, 10 Jan 2013

Let's ignore the visual changes on the new Mercedes E63 AMG for a moment and get straight to the facts. In top-spec 'S' guise, this four-door saloon will hit 62mph in 3.6 seconds. That's a tenth faster than a Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 supercar, and quicker still than Merc's own SLS AMG.
