Left over from a high performance warehouse accusation and I had to pull the staples out of the box to take the photos. Brand spankin’ new piece. The most unique feature of this Holley single plane Keith Dorton Signature series intake manifold for Chevy small blocks is the 3-part construction. The plenum, valley cover and intake runners are each separate pieces, which can make certain porting and internal modification chores a lot easier if you need to do any. But the power they produce for drag racers and circle track competitors--from 4,500 rpm all the way to 8,500 rpm--is the big attraction. It's designed for the 4150/ 4160 performance carburetor bolt pattern.

Mercedes quietly unveiled the 2009 Mercedes Benz E Class at Detroit. Quietly, because it wasn’t actually planned, but due to details leaking out ahead of the show, it seems Mercedes decided they may as well get the reveal over. Bigger than the last generation E Class, the new E Class gets a complete styling overhaul, with a new style in keeping with Mercedes more recent ‘Family’ looks.

Fuel prices 'rising again'

THE AUTUMN dip in petrol prices failed to stimulate sales and the cost of filling up is rising again, according to the AA. Drivers in small market and coastal towns are particularly suffering from high prices, with the dearest petrol found in East Anglia and Wales, the AA said. It added that between mid November and mid December, the average UK price of petrol rose from 130.44p a litre to 131.17p, while diesel increased from 137.78p to 138.61p.

Audi has released additional photos and information on the Urban Concept, which is set to make its debut at the Frankfurt motor show in September. As we previously reported, the new car – touted by Audi as a 'new kind of concept car' that combines aspects of a racing car as well as a fun-to-drive urban vehicle – is a diminutive two-passenger vehicle powered by two e-tron electric motors. Measuring in at 3200mm long, 1700mm wide and 1200mm tall, the Urban Concept is expected to weigh less than 500kg, thanks largely to a cockpit made from CFRP.
