1953-1972 Ford Short Bed Flareside

Grooved, sanded, cut-to-size and ready-to-finish. Our show quality oak is kiln-dried with a thickness of 3/4". It is FAS grade which means that the top face is free of defects. This wood set includes a 7/8 inch groove at the tailgate end of wood for placement of the bed wood sill. Mounting holes need to be drilled by customer before installation.

Saab files for bankruptcy

Struggling Swedish manufacturer, Saab, has finally filed for bankruptcy. What may well prove to be the closing chapter in this ongoing saga could see the iconic brand laid to rest following months of uncertainty. A statement by parent company, Swedish Automobile NV (Swan) announced that: ‘After having received the recent position of GM on the contemplated transaction with Saab Automobile, Youngman informed Saab Automobile that the funding to continue and complete the reorganization of Saab Automobile could not be concluded.
