Oak Bed Wood 1976-1987 Ford Short Bed Flareside Grooved, sanded, cut-to-size and ready to finish. Our show quality oak is kiln-dried with a thickness of 3/4". This set has 7 boards and requires 6 new bed strips. The bed strips do not install in the same places as the original 5 bed strips and the installer will drill new holes in the cross sills or use new American Classic Truck cross sills with predrilled holes for 6 bed strips and this 7 board set. Bed-to-frame holes in the wood need to be drilled before installation.
