You are bidding on a used Ockam 015 Boatspeed interface that is in excellent working condition. The model 015 interface supplies the OCKAM system with boatspeed information from one or two paddle-type sensors. The information is used alone for Boatspeed, Distance-Lost and Log displays. In conjunction with a Wind interface, boatspeed is used for true wind, VMG, Leeway and Distance-Lost VMG functions, and the boatspeed function gains tack-to-tack calibration capability. Formula One class of 2014: the official pictures

Fri, 31 Jan 2014

By Ollie Kew First Official Pictures 31 January 2014 11:30 The 2014 Formula One season is only weeks away. With 2.4-litre V8 engines in the bin and turbocharged 1.6-litre V6s with twice the electrical boost power powering the racers, a controverdial triple-points rule in Abu Dhabi, and wild-looking new nosecones thanks to the latest FIA crash regulations, the class of 2014’s machines are the most radically different F1 cars in decades. If the old adage of a pretty car being a winning car rings true this season, we suspect Sauber, Red Bull and Marussia will squabble for the title, with Caterham surprised to see themselves battling Lotus and Toro Rosso at the back of the field.

New Ford Kuga production increased to meet strong demand

Thu, 04 Apr 2013

Ford has revealed that it having to increase production of the new Kuga by 10 per cent at its Valencia Plant to meet strong demand. We reported in February that Ford were chuffed with sales of the new Kuga - especially as almost all buyers were opting for ‘premium’ versions – with orders for almost 2,000 in the UK just weeks after the Kuga went in to production in Spain, and sales across Europe for the Kuga up 27 per cent year on year. So Ford is now doing the only thing they can to deal with the burgeoning sales of the Kuga and are upping production in Valencia by 10 per cent, and now expect to build 100,000 new Kugas this year for Europe alone.

Porsche Cajun: the 2-door coupe crossover

Tue, 12 Oct 2010

The Porsche Cajun Coupe Crossover It’s only a week or two since we finally discovered for certain that Porsche will be building an SUV / Crossover based on the Audi Q5. And we also discovered that instead of being the Porsche Roxster – which was always a bit of joke name – Porsche’s trendy crossover would be the Porsche Cajun. And yes, we fully expect the Porsche Chilli and the Porsche Jalapeno to join in at some point in the future.
