All 50 copies of the 50th Anniversary Shelby Cobra Street Car sold out within 48 hours of its official introduction, Shelby American said on Monday. The car was unveiled during the Barrett-Jackson Auction on Jan. 21 in Scottsdale, Ariz.

Just about everyone loved the Alfa Romeo Disco Volante by Touring Superleggera that debuted at the 2012 edition of the Geneva motor show. Gerry McGovern to head Land Rover Advanced Design

Gerry McGovern has been named Director, Advanced Design for Land Rover, and will be working alongside Geoff Upex, who continues as Design Director for Land Rover. "Gerry is uniquely suited to this role," said J Mays, Ford Motor Company's group vice president of design. "He's already shown the world that he fully understands Land Rover's DNA, having led the team that designed Freelander.
