Please read this auction carefully before placing your bid.

Up for auction is:  One used factory Toyota alarm.

Item info:  The alram is off a 2004 Toyota Rav4, original owner.  The alarm worked great for the first four years.  Replaced the car battery in 2008, shortly after that both the alarm key FOB stopped working.  The alarm unit still works, just have to use the valet button.  I ended up installing an aftermarket alarm.  The alarm has been packed away ever since.  It looks to be complete minus the hood pin switch, but I've got a new one from the aftermarket alarm that I'll add in.  Unit might be ready for remote start too, there is a wired labeled "For use with remote starter upgrade kit" . After reading some forums, I think the remote FOB's needs to be reprogrammed to the alarm unit.  All electronics are sold AS-IS. Professional installation recommended.  All parts are sold  as-is with no warranty expressed or implied. THERE WILL BE NO RETURNS, REPLACEMENTS, EXCHANGES AND/OR REFUNDS. BUYER AGREES TO PURCHASE THE ITEM “AS IS”.

Included is:  One used Toyota factory alarm.

Renault Wind Gordini arrives

Tue, 01 Feb 2011

The Renault Wind Gordini When we revealed the Gordini moniker was going to be dragged out of the history cupboard to adorn modern Renaults we were fairly charitable. After all, we’d been less than keen on Citroen’s resurrection of the DS moniker to adorn a titivated C3. And then we got our hands on the joy that is the Citroen DS3 and had to change our minds.

Chrysler recalls Wrangler, Compass and Patriot

Thu, 06 Jun 2013

Chrysler Group said today it will recall more than 220,000 units of the Jeep Wrangler to fix a transmission flaw and 409,000 units of the Jeep Compass and Patriot worldwide to fix a software glitch that could stop airbags and seatbelts from working in a crash. The recalls add to a growing list of safety problems at Chrysler, which stunned the auto industry this week by taking the rare step of rebuffing a recall request from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. On Tuesday, Chrysler refused to recall 2.7 million units of the 1993-2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee and 2002-07 Jeep Liberty, claiming that the vehicles were built in compliance with safety standards and are not more accident-prone than other vehicles of the time.
