This is a GM 14 bolt semi floater ( GM 9.5`` ring gear ) ring and pinion with a 4.10 ratio. These gears were pulled from a 1995 Chevrolet Suburban 2500 4 wheel drive. The gears are in good condition and show no unusual wear.

Moving away from the traditional ash chassis (yes, as in the wood) of the previous car, the new Plus 8 features a bonded and riveted aluminum chassis, similar to the high-performance Aero variants. Externally, the car retains the retro styling that is to be expected of Morgan, but sits on a wider track with deeper rockers.

Lancia had plans in place to come back to the UK in 2008, but the storm clouds which had gathered over the car economy put paid to that. Chrysler, Hyundai-Kia, VW lead industry to 14 percent sales gain
