Italdesign Giugiaro tweets first glimpse of new concept

Italdesign Giugiaro has released the first of a series of teaser images of its new Geneva-bound concept car, exclusively to its Twitter followers. The Volkswagen Group-owned Italian design house has announced that from today it will be posting teaser shots of the unnamed prototype in the build-up to this year's Geneva show. When the show gets up-and-running on  6 March, Giugiaro will be tweeting directly from their booth with pictures, news and videos.

A new iPhone 5 case designed to resemble the head gasket of a V8 engine will be available on March 20th. Creators id America -- specialists in mobile accessories -- say the design is not only visually appealing but durable and comfortable to hold. Dubbed the Gasket V8, the new case is constructed with aircraft aluminum and molded to provide a form-fitting structure that doesn't cover up access ports or buttons.

U.S. car sales jump 20% in August

UPDATED -- U.S. auto sales--led by Honda Motor Co., the Volkswagen Group and Toyota Motor Corp.--jumped 20 percent last month for the strongest monthly pace in three years. The Detroit 3 also posted double-digit sales gains for August, signaling the auto industry's recovery remains solidly on track despite sluggish economic growth, rising gasoline prices and widespread consumer uncertainty.
