Renault revives Gordini hot hatch brand
Tue, 10 Nov 2009Renault is to revive the Gordini name, using it on range-topping versions of its Renaultsport Twingo, Clio and Megane hot hatches. The first new-generation Gordini will be based on the Renaultsport Twingo 133, and be unveiled on 25 November 2009 at Renault's premier showroom on the Champs Elysees. The new car will be called the Twingo Gordini RS, and then a Clio Gordini RS will follow in spring 2010.

It’s not long since Hyundai’s USP was the cheapness of its cars, but those days are now gone; Hyundai now competes head to head with mainstream makers as the strength of its products improves with every new model and its designs make Hyundai appealing without resorting to bargain basement headline prices. That has been perfectly illustrated with the Red Dot Design awards for both the new Genesis and the new Generation i10, both of which have received the Red Dot Design award – a first for Hyundai.

Tue, 15 May 2012Lamborghini Urus to get twin turbo V8 Lamborghini’s R&D Directror, Maurizio Reggiani, says the Lamborghini Urus will use a twin turbo V8 and weigh only 2,000kg. The Lamborghini Urus – Lambo’s new SUV offering – took the stage at the Geneva Motor Show in March and, although it received mixed reviews, is certainly heading for production. But the SUV we saw at Geneva is a long way of the real deal; nothing more than a shell to give the world a peek of how the Urus will look.
