No Reserve auction I removed this working tachometer from my 1986 Jeep CJ7 Laredo. Unfortunately, I broke the blue plastic case in back, where the mounting screw goes in. This makes the sleeve that mounts on the back have nothing to screw onto. But with a little ingenuity, you could fabricate a different way to mount this hard to find, expensive gauge. The item(s) are sold as-is as seen in the pictures, so please look over the pictures to see the condition. You will receive the actual item(s) as seen in the pictures. Fri, 20 May 2011When I got the keys to our long-term 2011 Mazda 5 last week, they came with a surprise--this aluminum-and-brass keychain in the shape of a rotary-engine housing, complete with moving rotor. The rotor doesn't just rattle around or spin in a circle. Thanks to a thumbwheel on the back of the housing, coupled with a timing gear and offset crank journal, the thing actually moves in an approximation of epitrochoidal motion just like a real Wankel.
