It's not so easy to get 662 hp down to the ground successfully, so Ford does it for you with overclocked computers and precise brake, throttle and clutch control.

The C6 Chevrolet Corvette is going out in style--and with plenty of performance. Chevrolet confirmed on Thursday that the 2013 Corvette will be the final year for the sixth generation of its iconic sports car, which it will send off with a 427 convertible collector's edition and a 60th-anniversary package. The cars will be shown in the flesh on Jan.

Audi has had a pretty solid run at the 24 Hours of Le Mans over the past decade, but we're glad they keep pushing the envelope. That's how they keep devising road-going spaceships like the staggeringly fast R18 e-tron quatto equipped with a “long tail” aerodynamic package. This quick video of the “long tail” hybrid testing at Monza gives us a preview of what we can expect at Spa next month -- and hints at what we'll see at Le Mans in June.
