Navigation Radio REC 6CD DVD Chrysler Dodge Jeep

This OEM unit was pulled from a 2006 Dodge Ram 1500 Extended Cab pickup by a professional car audio installer with over 20 years experience. This radio should work with most of the 05-09 Dodge/Chrysler/Jeep models I've listed below, but check with your local dealer and/or compare part number(s) to be absolutely sure prior to purchase. Please be aware that dealer programming with a scan tool/computer may be necessary in order to 'sync' the radio to the vehicle.

Fitment:

The above listed years and makes for the radio in this listing are all the ones that I know it will fit. I cannot tell you if it fits anything else. Please do not ask because you will only get this statement as a reply. Just because it looks like it will fit, doesn't mean it will. Again, please consult your dealer.

Theft Lock Codes:

I should be able to provide the winning buyer with the VIN number where this radio originated from. I believe you WILL need this in order to have your local dealer 'sync' the radio to your vehicle. If I'm not able to do so, I will alert the winning buyer of this, and let them decide if they want to complete the transaction. Just be aware that there is a chance the dealer may charge a service fee to obtain the lock code necessary. There are excellent resources on eBay that will provide this service as well for a nominal fee - in some cases, less than a dealer.

XM/Sirius/OnStar & Other Satellite Equipped Components:

Listing will not include service from these providers. You must obtain said service at your expense if you wish to use said service. If an optional antenna is needed, it will not be included. If a control box is needed for these other than the part listed, it will not be included.

DVD/Navigation Radios/Equipment:

Listing will be for the radio, navigation disc, which my installer says should be inside of the unit and - possibly - the GPS antenna.

Sound System Options:

If your vehicle is equipped with Bose, Active Audio, Premium, or similar type that requires amp, there is a very good chance that this radio will not work in a vehicle not already equipped with that system. I cannot guarantee it to work otherwise, and no refund will be given.

Although the radio was also tested prior to removal from the vehicle and was found to be in 100% working condition, I'm not sure how up-to-date the navigation maps are. If this is a concern for you, PLEASE do not bid on this item.

Italian design and manufacturing house Pininfarina S.p.A announced it will be cutting back its operations, with the closure of its manufacturing facilities. The decision will see the brand now focusing solely on design and engineering aspects for the automotive industry. The move follows the recent completion of a partnership with Volvo, which saw the production of the C70 convertible at Pininfarina's Sverige AB plant in Uddevalla.
