New GM 1965 1966 1967 1968 1969 1970 1971 1972 1973 1974 Corvette Big Block Oil Pan, Windage Tray & Drain Hole Bolt This is a new GM oil pan (OEM) with its original factory box. This is the correct oil pan for big block Corvettes (396, 427 and 454 engines - all engine options). This pan has correct interior baffles, trap door, windage tray and factory information sheet. Pan has a rear drain plug. Oil capacity of pan is 5 quarts (plus 1 quart for oil filter), same as original. Dip stick hole is on the passenger (RH) side. Note that this pan has a metric drain plug bolt (can be replaced with original F-C, 7/8" bolt), and it does not have corner reinforcement tabs. In all other respects it is identical to the orginal pans installed on big block Corvette engines. Pan was painted by the factory and removed from its box only for these photos. If this oil pan does not meet your requirements, it is returnable for exchange or full refund. Prompt, flat rate domestic shipping is by UPS ground only within the "Lower 48 States". Show Review: Art Center Car Classic 2007
Fri, 10 Aug 2007For those of you who haven't yet attended, Art Center's Car Classic is rapidly becoming the talk of the concours circuit. Held during the middle of the summer trimester at the main Hillside campus in Pasadena, it was started just three years ago and is gaining quite a following not only because of its intimate setting in which to admire the cars but also because attendees rub shoulder-to-shoulder with a variety of current and past industry designers and celebrities. To this fellow automotive enthusiast and Art Center alumnus at least, the Car Classic likens itself most to Lord March's Festival of Speed and Goodwood Revival in the UK.

I’m really not sure that teaser shots work as a marketing ploy (which, let’s face it, is all they are). For a start, 9 out of 10 of the concept shots we see bear nothing more than a passing resemblance to the final car.
