New Kia Magentis / Kia Optima (2011) revealed

Kia will reveal the 2011 Magentis/Optima at the New York Motor Show in April Hot on the heels of the sketches we saw of the 2011 Kia Magentis just before the Geneva Motor Show, we now get a photo of Kia’s take on the Hyundai i40 (well, a CGI anyway). Which does seem a long lead time. We know that Kia intend to show the Magentis/Optima at the New York Motor Show next month, but we’re not expecting to see the Magentis in showrooms until 2011.

Honda FCEV concept for 2013 LA debut

Honda has revealed an official sketch of its new FCEV concept that will debut at the 2013 Los Angeles Motor Show. Normally, this wouldn’t be much of a reason to raise even an eyebrow, but Honda has also confirmed that this new concept points to the future design direction of its next fuel cell electric vehicle. Lexus LFA and IS-F joust on track at Buntingthorpe Just a couple of weeks ago we reported that the first Lexus LFA in the UK had put in an appearance at Goodwood to delight the Supercar Sunday Breakfast Club. The visit to Goodwood made it clear that Lexus were treating the LFA as a serious performance car, and not just a rich man’s toy (although it is a rich man’s toy), so we wondered where Lexus UK would go next with their very own LFA. Would they trot it up to Lexus Park Lane and put it on show for the temptation of the passing wealthy, or would they plough on with putting the LFA in front of real (if wealthy) petrolheads?
