Tata Nano: the CEO’s plans to sell it in Europe

Careful young drivers penalised by hire companies
Mon, 15 Sep 2014YOUNG DRIVERS with good driving records are being unfairly penalised by car hire firms. Rental companies are accused of imposing tough age limitations on those able to hire a car. In a study by the Institute of Advanced Motorists (IAM), it found car hire companies often have stringent minimum age limits that take no account of a driver’s clean record.

Mon, 09 Jun 2014Canadian Grand Prix (2014): RESULT For the first time in 2014, it looks as if the Red Bulls are in with a chance after Sebastian Vettel managed to put his car in third place on the grid, behind Rosberg on pole and Hamilton in second spot, with Ricciardo in the second Red Bull in sixth behind the Williams cars. But after one of the best Grands Prix for a very long time, it was the Red Bull of Daniel Ricciardo that took the win after a dramatic tussle in the closing stages saw the Australian take his maiden win, a struggling Rosberg taking second place to extend his lead over Hamilton and a resurgent Vettel taking the final podium spot. At the start, Hamilton got a better take off than Vettel and pulled ahead, only to be baulked at the first corner by Rosberg and losing second spot to Vettel in the process.
