OMC power trim unit that was introduced in 1978 and in production well into the new century.  Used on Johnson and Evinrude 3-Cyl motors, V4, and V6.  Note some motors were equipped with the optional FasTrack trim; if you need that trim unit see my other auction.  This is in clean, bolt-on condition. Also includes the stainless 'push pads' so if you're installing trim on a motor not currently equipped, you're all set! The vehicle design department at the Royal College of Art hosted the second in a series of five lectures looking at the future of the profession last week. Moving on from the previous week's topic of sustainability, this debate explored the future roles and responsibilities of the vehicle designer. Head of department Dale Harrow began by posing the question "Is it time to rethink – do we still need the car?" Although still relevant, Harrow's ultimate answer to this was that the profession was about to see marked change, with the end to an era where "designers are locked behind closed doors in studios".

Black cab fares to rise

BLACK cab fares in the capital are going up and could rise again as early as next January. From April 5, London taxi fares will increase by an average of 0.7%, Transport for London (TfL) announced today. TfL said the below-inflation increase was the lowest since it took responsibility for licensing taxis in 2000 and the rise equated to just 9p more on an average fare.
