99 – 04 Mustang Cobra / Mach 1 / 4v Head Cooling Mod
Brand New In The Box Product
Always Kept In Stock Ready To Ship
This is a brand new head cooling mod in the box and will allow you to install without pulling the transmission. Certain kits on the market cannot be installed without pulling the trans, you don’t even have to pull the supercharger on the 2003 / 2004 Mustang Cobras. Very simple install by knocking out the back freeze plug on the back side of the driver-side head. Tap the fitting into place and just bolt it down. The aluminum tube supplied splices into the front coolant hose before going into the radiator. All rubber hose is included to go from the back of the head to the supplied aluminum tube. Why spend $120+ to accomplish the same thing? We have sold this kit for over 3 years now and run it on both of our street/race cars.
Without the head cooling mod, there isn’t a cooling passage in the back of the head and believe to cause engine failure. This will allow the coolant to just pass though the head and flow out of the back freeze plug port and directly back to the radiator.
We also have people question the 90 degree elbow talking about possible failure. Its not standard plastic, the material is Delrin and actually a machined out piece. If your not fimiliar this material is used in many industries, it has high strength, resistance to many chemicals including gasoline and resistant to continuous impact. Ideally this was a good matieral choice and fit better than the brass hose fittings on the market.
This will not work on the 96-98 4v motors, they have the IMRC plates that interfere. I do believe its possible if you have these deleted, you could run this if you have access to the freeze plug and hole for the hold down tab.
INCLUDED WITH THE KIT :

- Aluminum Coolant Tube
- Coolant tubing / Delrin Block Fitting
- Clamps For All Connections

Here are a few installed photos to show you how it works and how to install yours. The freeze plug in the back of the driverside head will need to be knocked out. Then you can install the main billet machined body that will allow you to port into the back of the head
Once you have that fitting installed into the head and the short hose and delrin elbow, you just run the line around that taps into the front radiator hose. As you can see the install is very straight forward, very functional and a must on your 99+ 4v motor

Ford’s Active Park Assist parks a Focus on the roof of a skyscraper
We do sometimes moan that cars are becoming so clever that it won’t be long before the driver’s just the blobby thing behind the wheel to keep an eye open as clever technology does its stuff. That said, modern technology is certainly doing wonders for tasks that many find irksome and difficult behind the wheel, and Ford are cleverly tapping in to their new technology to demonstrate just how helpful their new cars now are for the stressed driver with the Ford Primary Brand campaign. Ford‘s new Primary Brand campaign is focusing on technology like the new(ish) Active Park Assist that uses sensors to measure parking spaces as you drive by (not too quickly – you have to give it a chance) and then, at the push of a button – with the driver just following instructions for brake, gears and accelerator – neatly parks your new Ford for you.

NEW colours, more technology and a host of other changes feature in the latest range of Abarth 500 cars for 2014. The new range has just been launched as part of a tie-in with the infamous Gumball 3000 supercar event, which visited Edinburgh and London recently as part of an international tour. While the endurance road trip featured some of the world’s most exotic supercars, many of the loudest cheers were reserved for the fleet of Abarths – the new 695 biposto, a 595 Competizione, 595 Turismo and 595 50th Anniversario – taking part in the event.
