Ford will debut a new S-Max Concept at the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. As the name suggests, this previews a future replacement for the current S-Max ‘sports activity vehicle’ – the people carrier that does everything it can to avoid having you feel like you’re driving a people carrier… We’ve been given a sneak peak of the new MPV at a special pre-Frankfurt event in Dusseldorf – and if the thought of a sporty new S-Max gets your heart racing, don’t worry: this concept comes with an app for that. 2011 Mercedes CL Facelift Goodwood Reveal

The Mercedes CL 2011 bow is at Goodwood We had a peek a couple of weeks ago at the 2011 Mercedes CL facelift after a photo of the AMG version leaked out, but Mercedes has decided to get on with the job and have a proper reveal this weekend at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. And it this  facelift for the Uber-Coupe will keep the CL moniker rather than changing to S Class Coupe as we expected. The big Mercedes Coupe is due in the UK by October and it gets the expected nip and tuck to keep it looking fresh.

Happy 80th birthday, Dan Gurney

Here's a birthday shoutout to racing legend Dan Gurney, who turns 80 on Wednesday. In a long career, Gurney has been a driver, a car builder and a team owner. He was the first driver to win races in Formula One, Indy cars, sports cars and NASCAR.
