Here is a 1949 Mercury oil pan and transmission adapter, starter plate and bracket that holds the oil pan to the starter plate.  I pulled this off a 49 Merc. several years ago and it has been sitting on the shelf ever since.  It needs cleaned up.  There is a spot that has been welded.  It looks like it may have been done at the factory, not sure.  It looks like a good job.  It is a complete set, all you need to bolt it all together.   Shipping is $35 USA.  Please see my other items for more good old stuff.  Thanks for looking.

Much of the MINI Vision is covered in a layer of concept frippery, but looking through the toys and flights of fancy, we still get to see a lot of what thye Mk 3 MINI will offer.

Bondholders snub GM, bankruptcy filing likely

Wed, 27 May 2009

Nowhere near enough General Motors bondholders agreed to exchange their debt for stock before a midnight Tuesday deadline, making a bankruptcy filing by the automaker highly likely. GM had set a threshold of 90 percent of the $27 billion in bond debt it wanted to exchange for 10 percent of the stock in a reorganized company for the deal to take place. In a statement Wednesday, GM said the amount of notes tendered was substantially less than the 90 percent target.
