This original GMC Truck Maintenance Manual was published by GMC Truck & Coach Division of the General Motors Corp. as the 3rd printing in June 1954. The manual covers GMC models 450 and 470. The issue number is X - 5209. The exterior is smudged but the inside is in very good condition and would make a very fine addition to you restoration library.

September is historically one of the two biggest registration months of the year, as buyers rush to snap up the autumn's new number plate – yet sales were down by a fifth last month. The Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders, which collates sales data from dealers, called it 'stormy September', as new-car registrations plummeted by 21 percent from last year's figure to 330,295.
