Hello, I bought what was left of a Volkswagon Repair Shop and there was alot of used parts, the best thing that was left there was an original complete 1957 Pancake motor that came out of a 1957 VW Bug. These are becoming extremely hard to get and you can't even find anyone on the net that has one for sale.  It has been in the shop for over 20 years and was a running motor I was told when it was pulled from a wreaked car. I was told it was completely rebuilt by the owner of the shop. If you look closely you can see all the openings were plugged off to keep the inside clean. I can turn it over by hand with the plugs still in it.. I would bet this motor would run just as it is with the carb rebuilt. Please call Alan for any more information, Thank You, Alan. 1 530 938 4232  I will only ship to the Lower 48 States. Shipping Cost is Free the cheapest way I can find to ship it. Will keep the person that buys it advised on shipping.

Volvo V60 diesel plug-in hybrid – again

Mon, 21 Feb 2011

Volvo V60 Plug-in Diesel Hybrid Last month we reported on the innovative Volvo V60 diesel plug-in hybrid, a proper advance in hybrid gubbins which Volvo are planning on revealing – in practically production-ready form – at next weeks Geneva Motor Show. We first reported Volvo’s intention to bring a diesel hybrid to market by 2012 back in 2009, and the story we ran at the end of January was confirmation of that. But now Volvo has churned out a chunky press release to tell us exactly what the V60 plug-in hybrid will offer, so we thought we ought to revisit this story one more time before Geneva.

Lotus takes the top off Exige S

Wed, 22 May 2013

Lotus is adding an Exige S Roadster to its lineup, based on the new Exige we saw at the Frankfurt auto show. Unfortunately the road-car version will not come to the United States. The Roaster is powered by the same 345-hp V6 as in the hardtop Exige, as well as in the bigger Evora.

‘Why We Drive’ documentary looking for sponsors

Tue, 22 Apr 2014

Everyone who has a Netflix account, or uses a friend’s Netflix password, knows the documentary section is where all the action is. The only thing we’d ask for is a few more driving docs. And we hope that “Why We Drive” will enter the fray eventually, but SBR Productions needs a little help from enthusiasts.
