For your consideration is an original CHILTON's Auto Repair Manual for American models AND VOLKSWAGEN, covering model years 1958-1966. I cut my teeth working on my cars with CHILTON's & MOTOR'S manuals before I could afford specific shop manuals for each car. Some prefer these over Motor's, and vice versa. This is a very nice example, and I would rate its condition as "EXCELLENT +", in exceptional condition for its age. The amount and diversity of information contained in these manuals is difficult to summarize, so if you have a specific question, please feel free to ask. The binding & cover are strong with minimal or little wear. · Excellent: The pages are not torn or missing, but may be slightly dirty or have some greasy prints. The binding & cover are strong , showing only some wear at the corners. · Very Good: The pages are all intact and not abused, but may be frayed at the edge and possibly greasy or dirty from use. The binding & cover are strong but with fraying and/or stains/marks on the cover. · Good: The pages are all there, but with signs of much use. Some may be taped, slightly torn, or show a lot of greasy prints or dirt. The binding & cover are intact, but may be loose or has much fraying at the edges. · Fair: The pages are all there, but may be loose from the binding, torn and/or very dirty from use. Bentley Continental GT – Pop Art
Sun, 05 Jul 2009The Bentley Pop Art - created by Pop Artist Romero Britto So it’s quite startling to see a Bentley Continental GT with a paint job by renowned ‘Pop Artist to the Stars’ Romero Britto, who has created this one-off Continental GT – donated by Bentley Motors – for an exhibition in Germany at Automobil Forum Unter den Linden, which runs from 10th July until 6th September. But as I’m sure you’ll have guessed, this is not just a Pop Art paint job for the sake of it. The Pop Art Bentley will be auctioned off at the end of the exhibition in aid of the Nathalie Todenhöfer Foundation for multiple sclerosis and Best Buddies, a charity for the mentally challenged – which is all very noble – and good on Bentley for donating the Continental GT.
‘Hidden’ damage on hire cars costing drivers
Tue, 24 Sep 2013MORE THAN one in three hire car users have found unreported damage on hired vehicles upon collection, according to new data. A survey conducted by YouGov found that 37% of business travellers found damage to their hired vehicle which was not marked down on the documentation when they collected the car. This could lead to the user being charged for the damage and liable to lose any insurance excess amount – which could be as much as £2,000.
Dacia's UK launch postponed

It had planned to launch the cheap 'n' cheerful badge in the UK in February 2009, but that's now gone back a year, the company announced today. CAR was due to drive the Sandero – the UK launch model – in July 2008, but PRs today took the unusual step of ringing the media to cancel the event.
