You are bidding on an Original 1959-1960 Alfa Romeo Two Degrees Brochure and Press Photo. The brochure is in very good condition; it is two hole punched, and it is date stamped; the press photo is in fair condition, with a staple, and a tear that goes about 3/4 of the way down the photo, taped on the back.  The brochure is 4 pages, and the press photo measures 8 1/4" by 5 3/4". The text is Italian. A great addition to your collection.

Michelin Challenge Design 2009 preview

The Michelin Challenge Design exhibit at the 2009 North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) will feature 11 scale models and 24 two-dimensional drawings  selected by a jury of top automotive designers. In the weeks leading up to NAIAS, Michelin Challenge Design will be profiling some of the selected participants and their work. One such participant is Zsolt Tarnok, whose 'Concept SsS' represents a new icon for America, combining design cues and traditions from the past with ultra-modern technology.

Ford, GM post biggest drops, industry sales slump continues

Ford Motor Co. and General Motors posted the sharpest sales declines among major automakers as the industry headed toward its sixth straight monthly drop of more than 30 percent. Ford's March sales fell 42.1 percent and GM's were down 44.7 percent, for its fifth decline of more than 40 percent in the past six months.

GM Europe weeks from running out of cash

Speaking today (Tuesday 3 March), GM chief operating officer Fritz Henderson revealed that insolvency loomed, due to the plunge in European car sales and GM’s liquidity crisis in North America. He ruled out a swift cash injection from private investors, saying that no talks had taken place and that lengthy negotiations and due diligence would take too long.
