Original 1965-69 Impala Big Block Chevy 396 427 Double Baffle Oil Pan

This is a rare BBC Impala oil pan with the double baffle only used on the 396 427. You don't find these very often for the Impala. This one was cleaned to bare metal, primed and painted with high temperature Chevy orange. Very nice original pan for a driver or show car.

Silicon-Valley start-up Skully Systems will ship its 'world's smartest' motorcycle helmet from next year. It costs $1,399, and draws together a host of technology features that are already becoming familiar to car drivers and makes them available to motorcyclists for the first time. The helmet's visor features the firm's 'Synapse' see-through head-up display system that shows information like navigation data, bike speed, and a 180-degree angle feed from the rear-view camera mounted on the back of the helmet.

Although exact figures haven't been issued yet, it looks like as many as 5000 jobs could be axed. Analysts in Detroit are seeing today's announcement as a sign that the possible GM-Chrysler merger being discussed could come to fruition.
