Sprint car builder Don Maxwell (Service Development) designed this sprint car seat in the late 1960’s and was manufactured by Hunt’s Seats. Seats were sold to and distributed by Gambler Chassis, Maxim, Avenger, Bob Trostle, Speedway Motors and more. Gary Patterson, Jan Opperman, Doug Wolfgang, Steve Kinser and many more drivers had this seat in their cars. Seat is made of .090 aluminum (3003) – 16" wide – 22" tall – 7 degree tilt (layback) – hand-rolled edge . . . ORIGINAL PATTERN by the original builder Hunt’s Seats.  If you are restoring a 1970’s sprint car, here is the original seat from that era.   MADE IN THE U.S.A.

Mercedes-Benz has crafted a clever publicity stunt in and around Hamburg as part of its campaign to promote its zero-emission B-Class F-Cell car. The Stuttgart-based carmaker showed off its redesigned hydrogen fuel cell technology by sending out what appears at first glance to be an invisible car, aimed to highlight the automaker's point that the car is 'invisible to the environment'. Mercedes-Benz recorded reactions from passersby to create a 90-second online viral featuring an explanation of how the effect was created using LED lights and cameras.
