The upright is 23 inches by 2 inches in diameter. It measures 26 inches front to back including the seat which is 12 inches in diameter. It has two mounting cups for the shaft to swivel in. The seat is a little soiled but cleanable.

The Soul is a departure for Kia in the same mould as the Fiat Sedici/Suzuki SX4 soft-roaders. Naturally, Kia says it ‘doesn’t fit into the usual motor industry brackets’, but we’d say they’re deluding themselves.
