This listing is for the items pictured.......These are  Original  1960/64 Ford "300" /Galaxie/Mercury Base Monterey PLASTIC lower front bench trim panels/aprons. These will work for base trim Mercury's also.  YES, try finding a pair of these in decent condition. These show a 1960 part # but came out of an all original 1964 Mercury Monterey Marauder 2-dr Fastback Hardtop. (I still have the car) The passengers side has 1 sizable crack (pictured) that could easily be repaired with a meticulous cleaning with alcohol, some finesse and a soldering iron from the backside. The Drivers side shows some wear but no cracks. I wiped them down but used NO silicone in case the buyer wanted to dye them. They have been in the cupboard something like 40 years. Mandelson to announce help for car makers

Lord Mandelson is the man charged with finding ways to fund UK Car purchases (yes, he of the dodgy mortgage debacle – at least he should know a few tricks!) as the credit crunch has dried up funding, leading to an unprecedented drop in new car sales in the UK. Mandelson is due to make a statement in the Lords just after 3pm today, outlining the help the government is going to offer to ailing car makers. Central to this package is expected to be a funding channel directly from the Bank of England to inject liquidity in to the car financing sector.

Cadillac recalls SRX for acceleration lag

Cadillac is recalling certain 2013 model year SRX crossovers for an issue that can cause a three to four second lag in acceleration due to a problem with the transmission control module. Such a lag may increase the risk of a crash, according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. This recall concerns only the SRX models equipped with the 3.6-liter V6 engine, and the affected vehicles were manufactured between May 29, 2012 and June 26, 2013.
