BMW Vision Future Luxury at 2014 Beijing Motor Show hints at new 9 Series

BMW unveiled its latest concept on Easter Sunday, which could signal an all-new 9 Series model to top its range. The four-seater concept – called Vision Future Luxury – was revealed at the Beijing Motor Show, but MSN Cars got a sneak preview of the car back in Munich, Germany in early April 2014 and spoke to its key designers to bring you this ‘inside track’ report. Transport recovering after storm

ROAD NETWORKS are slowly getting back to normal after a day of commuter chaos caused by the hurricane-force winds that whipped across the country. All forms of transport were hit by the storm, with the disruption causing morning rush-hour misery to millions. Many roads were impassable due to fallen trees and high winds, with major routes beset by long delays.

New 1.0-litre turbo for Vauxhall Adam

A frugal new 1.0-litre SIDI three-cylinder turbo petrol engine will go on sale in the Vauxhall Adam city car in 2014, following its debut at next month’s 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new low-emissions unit – a rival to Ford’s 1.0 Ecoboost engine in the Fiesta and Focus – will deliver “impressive fuel economy and CO2 emissions significantly lower than 100g/km”, according to Vauxhall.
