OTC Stinger 4572 large Valve Spring Compressor. This tool use used to easily compress valve springs so you can remove the retainer and the spring. This is the most popular valve spring compressor for Subaru and Porsche boxer engines and it works on most makes and models of engines with overhead valves, including motorcycle engines. Same hundreds over a specialty dealer tool and this works better!

  • Designed to compress valve springs on overhead valve engines
  • Includes two valve spring adapters which fit valve spring retainers up to 1" (25mm) and 1-3/16" (30mm)
  • Unique direct-action compressor lever gives better visibility of valve spring retainers located in difficult access areas.
  • Jaw opening of 1-3/8" to 5-5/8" (35mm to 142mm); throat clearance of 5-7/8" (150mm)

This valve spring compressor works great. I was impressed how well it worked compared to those old style ones we used thirty years ago. I will send it in the original box that is clean and has no grease or dirt on it. All paperwork instructions and all original parts are with the valve spring compressor. You will think you got a brand new- never used valve spring compressor.

Ships only to lower 48 states.

Mon, 11 Oct 2010

Automakers are seeking to head off an EPA ruling that would allow gasoline to contain 15 percent ethanol, up from 10 percent now, and they've won some bipartisan congressional support. The two main automaker industry lobbies have argued that the U.S. Department of Energy has done insufficient testing to assure that gasoline containing up to 15 percent ethanol won't harm vehicles.
