A GROUP of Commonwealth Games athletes took on a road race with a difference by going for a ride down one of Scotland's busiest stretches of motorway. The four members of the Sri Lankan team sparked a police response after they were spotted cycling down the M74. British triathlete Jonny Brownlee was among those amazed to see the intrepid cyclists riding alongside traffic this morning.

Beijing Designers Night

This year's Designer's Night took place on April 21, the second evening of the recent Beijing International Auto Show. Hosted by Autodesk and supported by Car Design News, the event took place in Beijing's famous northeastern 798 art factory district and attracted over 200 designers and design leaders from around the world, from well-known international companies as well as the design leaders from the Chinese automotive design industry. Porsche GT3 to launch at Geneva

The next in line for the mid-life facelift (Gen 2) of the Porsche 911 is the GT3, following on from last year’s revisions to the Carrera and Targa. The GT3 has had only minor modifications to its looks, instead the detail, as you would hope, has gone on under the skin. The engine has gone up in size from the old 3.6 litres to 3.8, yielding an increase in bhp – up to 435bhp.
