Pair Of Boxed N.o.s. Left & Right 1966 Pontiac Catalina Headlight Frame Bezels on 2040-parts.com
Northport, New York, US
Up for auction this week is this PAIR of BOXED, NEW OLD STOCK 1966 PONTIAC CATALINA HEADLIGHT FRAMES/BEZELS in NEW, UNUSED CONDITION! I bought them out of a garage estate sale, where the former owner had restored a GORGEOUS tri-power convertible Catalina. These were some spares he had picked up, in case, and rightly so. If you look at a Catalina, these headlight frames jut out from the car like the bow of a boat, and probably take a lot of abuse. They are painted in a red primer, ready to match your Pontiac. They MAY fit other years or models, but I'm only claiming what it says on the box-1966 Catalina. Any questions?
BEFORE YOU BID, just 3 more things: Check out my other auctions. If you win more than one item,
I will combine shipping (within reason) to save you money. I'm NOT
shipping the bowling ball and porcelain tea cup together! Next, NO INTERNATIONAL BIDDING OR SHIPPING! NO! NON! NYET! NIX! NAY! NO! NO! NO
EXCEPTIONS! Don't even ask. Lastly, if you have any questions, don't
wait until the last minute to ask. I'm not sitting in front of my
computer waiting for auctions to end or to answer questions. I have a
life today, and Ebay ain't it!

2014 Hyundai Genesis: First photos ahead of Detroit debut
Thu, 24 Oct 2013First photo of the new Hyundai Genesis However far Hyundai has come in the UK and Europe in the last few years, they still don’t think Europe is ready for their range-topping saloon – the Hyundai Genesis. But that could be about to change with the arrival of the 2014 Hyundai Genesis, which Hyundai has started to tease with the release of the first photos of their new car ahead of a debut at the Detroit Auto Show. Looking like a slightly tamer version of the Hyundai HCD-14 Concept we saw at Detroit at the start of the year, the new Genesis gets Hyundai’s latest Fluidic Sculpture 2.0 design language which brings with it a new Audi-esque front grill (well, Hyundai/Kia’s design guru, Peter Schreyer, did come from Audi) as well as a sleeker, more elegant style.
Ford's automotive assembly line celebrates 100th anniversary
Wed, 09 Oct 2013A mere century ago, on Oct. 7, 1913, Henry Ford rigged up a rope tow to get Model T chassis across the floor of his Highland Park assembly plant -- essentially winching cars across the factory floor and adding a set schedule of parts at certain intervals. The implementation may have been a bit primitive, but Ford was on the cusp something big: applying the concepts of the moving assembly line to the complicated, costly process of automobile production.
Audi TT ultra quattro concept sheds 300kg & heads for Worthersee
Thu, 25 Apr 2013The TT ultra quattro concept manages to tip the scales at 1111kg, 299kg less than the starting point – the TT S quattro – thanks to a new version of the TT’s aluminium space frame, carbon fibre reinforced plastic panels, carbon fibre for many body panels and some judicious use of magnesium. Other weight saving tricks include carbon ceramic brakes with aluminium calipers, titanium exhaust, cameras instead of heavy door mirror mechanisms, and carbon fibre and aluminium wheels. The weight saving extends to the interior of the TT ultra quattro concept too, with carbon fibre used for the door and centre console trims and glass-fibre reinforced plastic base for the seats which saves 22kh alone. But despite the weight savings Audi hasn’t made the TT ultra quattro concept a hair shirt outing with goodies like leather seats, AirCon and electric windows still on offer.
