However hard I try, and however much the Continental GT is denigrated as a ‘Footballers Car’, I can’t help loving it, and its soft-top sibling the GTC. When I first drove the GT I have to admit I was a little disappointed. Only a little, mind you, as it is unarguably a great car.

Is the Lamborghini SUV going to be the Urus? With the Beijing Motor Show starting next week – and the Lamborghini SUV due to debut – Chinese media claim it will get the Urus badge. There's the same space for four (or five as an option) adults and four doors, wrapped in a gently reheated coupe-meets-saloon bodystyle. Think of it as the poor man's Mercedes CLS, if you will.
