PJ1 Octane Plus Gas Energizer is formulated as an octane booster with secondary benefits as a fuel injector/carburetor system cleaner and fuel stabilizer. Raises Octane, reducing knock and ping, and helps to improve engine efficiency. Gas/Intake cleaner acts to reduce mild water emulsification. Will not harm catalytic converters or negatively interact with PJ1 lubricating oils. Compatible with mixed fuels with Ethanol additive, Incompatible with any blend of Methanol. SUGGESTED USAGE: 1 ounce per gallon for standard use, 2 ounces per gallon for performance use. ESTIMATED OCTANE BOOST PER USAGE: 1oz. = 2 points, 2oz. = 4 points.

New Chinese manufacturer Qoros has shown its new Focus and Golf rival - the GQ3 - ahead of its planned debut at the 2013 Geneva motor show. The first in a string of models planned for launch in China and Europe, the Qoros GQ3 is at first glance a reasonably accomplished design which should be able to compete for showroom appeal with the likes of Skoda and the Korean budget brands. Of course, what has held back Chinese car brands in the past is quality: we can't tell from these first official photos whether Qoros has cracked that or not.

Toyota has revealed the revised Land Cruiser for 2010
But times move on, and Toyota has decided a modest facelift and a re-vamp is called for, and they have released details of the changes for their most iconic model, which will launch at the Frankfurt Motor Show this week, and go on sale in the UK in December. There are a number of styling tweaks inside and out to keep the venerable Land Cruiser fresh, including a revised dash and trim and tweaks to the bumpers and lights. But the biggest news – at least in the UK – is that the Land Cruiser will come with just one engine option – the 3.0 litre D-4D diesel with a five-speed auto-box.

Disqualified drivers who cause death on the roads face lengthier sentences, under tough new measures introduced by the justice secretary, Chris Grayling. The changes - which are expected to come into force in early 2015 - include a new offence of causing serious injury while disqualified. Drivers convicted of this new offence can expect a four-year prison term.
